Hi. I remember seeing your post "Could this be the house?" And you said people really live there. But some other people say it's not a real house, it's just a set. Is that true or not? But if it's a REAL house, I would really love it if you could help me find out where it is and some more pictures of it.
The house in that picture really does look soooooo much diffrent (espically the doors!) from 8 in a half years ago when Full House was ended.

Thank you very much!!

Well, we're all right.

Yes, the shots you see of the OUTSIDE of the house are from a real home in San Francisco. BUT, the inside scenes were shot on a set.

Interestingly enough, the inside layout of the house as it's seen on the show does NOT match up with the outside shots. As I've said before, the downstairs is pretty much correct but upstairs is another story altogether.

I'm thinking the actual house used for the outside shots on the show is two houses to the right of the house in the picture we have. I'm awaiting two emails to see what street that picture was shot on. I'll let you all know when I know.

In Peace,
King Creole

Do you mean that this particular shot was used after the opening of "Full House"? I thought that was filmed outside.

I've actually wondered about the location as well. I watched Full House a long time ago and only recently got cable again and started watching again. Now, that shot that you posted above is where I always believed that the house was, facing the park. That park is called Alamo Park I believe, located on the corner of Fulton & Steiner in San Francisco.

However, in another season opener there is a zoom out and it looks like the house is in the middle of a neigborhood. I'm probably confused about something.

Anyway, I live in San Francisco and could get some shots of the Alamo Park area if anyone wants.

I searched around more and found out that you had a picture of another house. I have a huge interest in locating it and I'll be happy to scout out any areas if you guys want

Now, the season two intro does give a hint. There is a shot of the house and then a zoom out of a street right after, presumably the same street as the "Full House" house. Only problem is that the video quality is grainy:

There is also a long shot of San Francisco at the end of that intro that appears to pan this area (the red V shows the scope of the pan):

This could be just a random pan of the San Francisco, or hinting that the house is located in the Pacific Heights area. However, the Pacific Heights area is not close to Alomo Park where the picnic in the intro is shot, though I doubt those areas have to be related.

I think it would be kind of fun to mark all the areas filmed in San Francisco, especially some of the intro segments. I believe I have a good idea of where the streetcar corner segment in some intros was filmed (where the Full House gang are shown on the San Francisco street car), I think it'd be fun to go to those locations and take a shot and put it side by side with a shot from the original show.

If you can ever find the address of that original house in your older thread, that would be cool.

Of course, you're right! The intro was filmed in San Francisco in the non-syndicated (ABC) version. I looked at the map that the "V" shaped one was the marker used for that intro. I watched some intros a lot.

Here was the original thread:

http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/...threadid=95299

I also noticed that Full-House.org had this in their trivia section:

There seem to be some misunderstanding in the Tanner address. We all know it's 1882 Gerard Street, but in the series, there are some alternatives:
In one episode, when Stephanie is really nervous, talking to a boy she likes, she says in a hurried voice that she lives at 1883 Gerrard Street.
In the episode where Joey finds an old girlfriend, he is talking to her on the phone and tells her to "Come on over. I'm at 1882 Gerrard."
But what is even more strange is that their front porch does not agree with either of those answers. I am not sure which episode it is, but it clearly shows 189_. Though I could not clearly see the last number, from the part I saw, it was a 2.

Now, if that 189? is not a shot from a set but from the actual house, then that would be the address of the actual house. In King Creole's actual house pictues, the two houses have addresses of 1915 and 1919, so his hunch that the actual Full House is near those houses could very well be right. Now, if only he could find what the street name those houses are on

Actually, I think you're right. The house in the picture I had was in Pacific Heights, they were talking about the neighborhood. It HAS to be the same neighborhood as the Full House house. The shrubbery and placement of telephone wires are nearly identical. I'll do some screencaps and post more evidence.

I think we'll finally be able to do what no one else could: Find the Full House house.

Stay tuned!

In Peace,
King Creole

Default FH area

Well, I have a friend who visit San Fransico the summer of 2003. He tell me at the park area and the house area not is in the same area. He saw the house (in the opening song/clip scene) and tell me that (ride in a car or a bus). I should talk with him about the hole neighbour he visit and FH recording places. (We/I am from weden, Europe)

That would be cool if you could get more info, and what your friend says probably solidifies that the house in the Pacific Heights district. If we could only narrow it down to a block

Yeah, I noticed that people keep asking this question Another one just popped up here and someone else asked on the TVTome Full House forum.

After watching a lot of episodes, it looks like many ariel shots of San Francisco are focused on the Pacific Heights district of San Francisco.

Tommorow, I don't have school until late in the day, and I'm going to the dentist which isn't far away from the Pacific Heights district, so I'm going to walk a few blocks there and see if I can find the house.

What I could really use is a high resolution shot of the house. Someone posted this shot:

http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/...postid=1429110

But it's too dark. So if anyone has a TV tuner and can get a got screen capture of the house, or give me a link to a nice screen capture that has already been made, please link it here. I need the picture to be in daylight.

Also, can an administrator please rename this thread to "The real Full House house" or something like that? It will make it easier for people to find an exisiting thread about this mystery

And if you have any additional information, blossom, that would be great too.

The problem is that the villiage isn't in the exact same area. I want a picture of the house from the show. Basically, it would be nice if someone with a TV tuner could take a screenshot of the front shot of the house when they show the house during the episode. I have that picture I linked to, but it's during nighttime, and the features of the house are not as clear.

The house is the same but the door is changed (if they didn´t change door since the summer of 2003). If you imagnine you just goes out of the house and is on the steps you are near a very small park (Alamo Park they have in FH is big after that information you guys told in higher up in this theard). You are able to cross a way and you are in the a park. If thats the park they visit in the show, I doubt cause Alamo is big (if that are that park they visit in FH). So, right across the house you find a park, very little ( big as the area for 2-4 house in a quart __
[_] I hope you understand. I little park is what you should look after in the area.
(Or just take a cab to 1882 Gerrad Street =) Just acroos the house. Hope you find the house.
