Why didn't Jack stay in Apt #201?? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I'm sure they said the reason on the show at one point, but I never caught it. Why did Jack move out of apt.#201 with Vicky? Why didn't he just stay??

i dont think he could afford it. the girls always say that they needed a third roomate to pay the rent so i think that him and vicky wouldnt be able to pay for it. he also has to pay for the bistro. i guess it was cheaper if they moved. and besides it wouldnt be right having jack stay with all those memories.

Vicky had a decent paying job.

Back to the original cast: If it were only Janet and Chrissy living there and they'd quit running up a tab at the Reagle Beagle, they could pay their rent. What else did they spend their money on?
They had no car.

No reason why two working adults couldn't afford to live there.

LOL! that was funny! I think it was also the memories! And it would of been more eay for Jack to live in the Apt. and having his Bistro right there too!

It was a new show and a brand new life for Jack. I guess the producers wanted to have a fresh setting for the new show.
