Hi everyone
My husband and I listened to a LaWanda Page cd tonight, she was way dirtier than Fred. The crowd was a wild bunch. I think she must have kicked back a few scotch and waters before she performed that night.

I've heard one of heard records. It wasn't as funny as I thought it would be and the language WAS out there! Redd is much funnier with or without the language!

Was it true that Lawanda Page was married to the actor Hi-Fi White? He played Sweet Pea in Penitentiary.

I always considered LaWanda Page to be the female version of Redd Foxx...

(They were SURE great together)...
