Default "Hosed"

This episode wasn't that bad!
I had seen it once during the N@N marathon, and I remembered that I didn't think it was that bad. But since then I kept hearing that so many Wings fans thought it was the worst episode of the series... but I just saw it again because it was on this morning, and there are actually some season 8 episodes that I think are worse than "Hosed". That one actually made me laugh. and I just think it's realy rediculous, in a funny way, that a whole episode was about a vacuum cleaner. haha.
Does anyone else agree wth me? It wasn't one of the best episodes, but it's not the worst either.

I saw the discription on the TV Guide cable menu this morning. I said "Oh lord... THAT episode." and I didn't want to take the risk.
Isn't there a part where the vaccuum sucks on Joe's nose or something? I thought I read a post about that elsewhere.

I don't think it was that bad, either. I kinda liked how excited Antonio got over the vacuum cleaner.

I didn't hate it. It won't wind up on any "Best of Wings" dvd, but it had its good moments.

The only complaint I have is Joe's behavior. It's his personality to worry about things, but he was over the top this time.

The writers kicked his personality up a few notches....it was almost as if he was possessed. To me, it came off as forced and unrealistic.

Still, an okay episode of Wings beats a best episode of most other sitcoms.

Probibly because he could finally clean all of the dirt out of his cab.

I don't have my car yet, but I want a Volkswagon Scoccaro or whatever it's called. They look similar to the DeLorean DMC-12, but less expensive and no gull winged doors.

Yeah, Joe in that ep was Joe in over-drive. But I definitely didn't think it was the worst ep ever. You know, the worst ep to me (oh no, can't remember it exactly) was the one where Joe was stuck on the couch and Antonio wouldn't let him talk on the phone... I hated that one... couldn't even watch it all the way through.

"Hosed" was funnier than that one, IMO.

Love,

Wing<><

Odd that u mentioned that episode cause it was on last night. I didn't care for the part where Antonio bothered Joe either, but I thought the part where Brian and Helen go to the Drag Queen contest was great.

Actually, seeing them dress in drag sounds amusing.
I'll have to see that episode sometime.

Actually, none of the "Wings" men dressed in drag in that episode. The story had a "Victor/Victoria" tone about it as HELEN pretended to be a MAN dressing as a WOMAN in a "Drag Queen" contest.....

The funny payoff was that Helen LOST the contest for the best-looking woman...and BOY, was she MAD!

This was definitely one of those "We Know It's A Crazy Plot, But Oh-What-The-Heck, Let's Do It Anyway!" episodes of "Wings"' 8th season.

yeah, i just watched this episode again last night. I didn't like it the first time I saw it, and I didn't like it when I saw it again. hehe

...I would have liked to see Brian dress in drag instead of Helen....

Sounds like the current state of 'The Simpsons'. The staff has really let themselves go.
Did you see the childfree episode last Sunday? It was, how do I use the term, trippy.
