LOOK some good trading advice - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

ive noticed that there seems to be more and more bad trader posts and complaints so i thought i would share with you how i find what i am after
because i live on the other side of the world i am even more selective when it comes to getting the shows i am after i like to think that i have gotten the best possible version of the show i could find this is how i go about it

1.i do a google search and type in the show name with the words vhs , and also tape trading then i save the address of anyone advertising that they have the show

2.i do a search through all the yahoo groups and googles alt.video.trading and save those addresses as well

3.i then post on all the boards the same message outlining what i want and give the person a contact email

4.when the person replies i always ask the same 9-10 questions about their product

5.i then email all the people whos addresses i saved and wait to see what sort of response i get often these people are big name traders and are two busy to reply

by doing it this way the responses i get a from people who genuinely want to do a deal with me they are happy to answer my questions they communicate very well and are quite often open to any sort of deal often when i say where i live they don't reply again but that is understandable
i allow approx 4 weeks for my posts to be read and then i dont bump them up anymore i make a decision and then email all the others back and let them know what is going on
so far i am able to get full sets this way and keep my collection organised
i would be interested in hearing others comments about this approach

but this doesn't make me immune from bad traders thats when i need your advice in this area its been a great help
