Specials:
"Dan & Roseanne: A Love Story"
Thursday, February 5, 2004 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. E/P
Dan and Roseanne, is what everyone thinks about when it's Valentine's Day--right? If not, let Nick@Nite show you why! See this modern classic couple run their modern classic family, while in love, and in love again (when they try to get back together)!

10:00PM #12 "The Monday Through Friday Show"
Dan and Roseanne disagree about where to spend a romantic 15th anniversary; Becky refuses to dissect a frog in biology class; Darlene finds her paper route more than she can handle.
10:30PM #58 "Do You Know Where Your Parents Are?"
Since the girls continually break curfew, Dan and Roseanne celebrate the anniversary of their first lovemaking by revisiting the restaurant/hotel ? and staying out very, very late, hoping to teach the girls a lesson, with the help of Officer Jackie.
11:00PM #64 "Valentine's Day"
Roseanne is mad at Dan for forgetting Valentine's Day, so he winds up full-figure lingerie shopping; and Darlene's upset when a boy she likes asks out Becky instead.
11:30PM #117 "It was Twenty Years Ago Today"
For their anniversary, Roseanne poses in a sexy photo for Dan, while he moonlights at a big-and-tall men's store to pay for his present for her.
12:00AM #146 "Isn't It Romantic?"
Fred asks Roseanne how to propose to Jackie, then uses hints from Jackie's favourite soap opera; an enraged Roseanne demands romance from Dan, then turns to fantasy; Mark and David struggle with the concepts of feminism.
12:30AM #216 "A Second Chance"
Bothered by rumors about Roseanne and "that Wellman guy," Dan sweeps by to take Roseanne out for a ride. Roseanne and Dan begin to take the first tentative steps toward putting their marriage back together. But their reconciliation is disrupted when a frantic call comes in from Jackie: Darlene has been suddenly rushed to the hospital.

No changes, but the encore of the Valentine's marathon on Feb. 14 has been removed. It'll still air Feb 5.

Effective Thursday, February 26:
1:00AM/4:00AM Cheers (replaces Three's Company)
1:30AM/4:30AM Cheers (repaces All in the Family)

As of now, this means Three's Company is NOT on Nick@Nite curently.

I think it's for the best. Cheers didn't really fit on TVLand, it's much better for N@N. All in the Family and Three's Company are a much better fit for TVLand than N@N.

Cheers is still listed for TV Land still, but I'm "guessing" that it won't be in April, when the new line-up is in.

So now we have four episodes each of The Cosby Show, Full House, Roseanne, and Cheers a night? N@N really needs to pick up some new shows soon, and do away with the double takes.

Any chance Wings might get a better timeslot soon?

Despite all these complaints, Nick@Nite is doing its best ever and seems to be improving everyday:

Nick at Nite Scores Highest-Rated February Ever Among Adults 18-49, Draws Record Audience Levels

Santa Monica, CA - March 2, 2004 - For February 2004, Nick at Nite scored its highest-rated February and biggest audience levels ever among its target demo of Adults 18-49. Bolstered by the network's Valentine's Day programming event, "Roseanne and Dan: A Love Story," and a strong showing from its modern classic sitcoms line-up of Full House, The Cosby Show and Roseanne, Nick at Nite finished the month with a +20% increase in rating and a +23% rise in delivery over last year.

According to Nielsen Media Research for February '04 (1/26/04-2/29/04), Nick at Nite averaged a 0.6/663,000 among Adults 18-49 audience during its programming hours, +20% above last year in rating and up +22% delivery increase. The network also averaged 1.4 million persons 2+, a +19% increase over prior-year levels. Nick at Nite's programming hours are Sun-Thurs., 9 p.m.-6 a.m.; Fri & Sat., 10 p.m.-6 a.m. (all times ET/PT).

"Nick at Nite's strong ratings provides further proof of America's passion for great, modern classic sitcoms," said Larry W. Jones, President, TV Land and Nick at Nite.

Highlights of Nick at Nite's February 2004 performance include:

- Roseanne and Dan: A Love Story (2/5/04), a Valentine's Day showcase of Roseanne episodes that chronicled The Conners' relationship, posted a 0.7/733,000 among Adults 18-49, a +75% rise in rating and +69% in delivery over last year. Among persons 2+, the program averaged 1.5 million total viewers, up +38% over last year.

- Roseanne (Mon.-Sun., 11p-12a) continued to clean up as the show averaged a 0.8 rating and delivered 799,000 Adults 18-49, a +100% increase in rating and a +77% rise in delivery over last year. The show averaged 1.6 million total viewers, up +36% compared to last year.

- The Cosby Show (Mon.-Sun., 12a-1a) increased its viewership by +11% among viewers and by +17% in rating among Nick at Nite's target Adults 18-49 demo. We are always thinking the same thing about the N@N/TV Land schedules...How does it effect Family Ties.

I think the very best thing we can hope for is for Family Ties to remain in one slot a day on TV Land, I would even accept late at night because I could record it. But I doubt too that it will ever be back on N@N.
