Default Cherrelle or Pebbles

Which one of this 80's cousin singers do you think is better? Cherrelle or Pebbles?

I think Cherrelle is better, because she is the better singer.

Cherrelle. I was a big Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis fan and liked anything they had anything to do with. Cherrelle's High Priority was a favorite album of mine and Saturday Love was a song I played non-stop. Pebbles had some good singles here and there, but I was definitely a Cherrelle fan.

Both of them know how to evaluate talent. Cherrelle worked with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis before they worked with Janet Jackson and hit is big. While Pebbles discovered TLC, one of the best R&B girl groups ever. This two cousins knew talent when they saw it.

A couple of the songs on Pebbles s/t debut album was written and produced by Andre Cymone, like Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis use to work for Prince.

Yes Pebbles did become a prechor, like another 80's singer Vanity. I don't know what happened to Cherrelle, I hear she is still recording.

I don't like Pebbles for all that crap she did to TLC.

I didn't know Cherrelle & Pebbles were cousins. I like Cherrelle's I Didn't Mean To Turn U On & Saturday Love songs. Didn't her & Alexander O Neal do another song together besides Saturday Love? I think she did a song with him on his debut cd. I used to have his debut album that came out in 83. I think Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis produced his debut album also. I like his songs Fake & If U Were Here Tonight. I really like Pebbles songs Mercedes Boy & Always. Babyface sang with her on Always song. Pebbles is very attractive. She used to be married to LA Reid who used to be in the 80's group The Deele with Babyface. LA Reid & Babyface started the label LaFace records for those who don't know. Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis were very successful producers in the 80's. They haven't looked back since they left the group The Time. The Time used to be one of my favorite groups in the early 80's. The Time fell off after Jimmy & Terry left. Vanity used to be my baby back in the 80's. I had a crush on her when i saw her in The Last Dragon movie. She was so cute & sexy back then. I wish she would've responded to my emails LOL.

Cherrelle did do two other duets with Alexander O'Neal, "Everything I find at home" and "Never knew love like this"

Cherrelle and Pebbles are similar in their stage names. Both only use one name, both stage names start with the same letter as their real first name, Cherrelle's real name is Cheryl, and Pebbles real name is Perri.

Everything I Miss At Home wasn't a duet, Alex just did backing vocals on that. Another song Cherrelle and Alex did together was called "Keep It Inside"
