Jinny was looking out the window.*’’Damn, would ya look outside? Has anybody checked the weather forecast?’’

At that one of the officers switched on the TV and the announcer of the weather channel started to talk mid-sentence. "...unusual for San Francisco, but weirder things have happened. Now let's move on to the east coast..."

"Damn we just missed it." Magda said and switched the TV off again as their Captain walked out of her office, just having seen the latest weather forecast on her own TV.

"Is anybody else worried here?" She asked, looking at her inspectors who were all gathered in the bullpen.

"About what?"Jinny asked. "We just missed the weather,did you see it?"

"That's what's worrying me." Kate said. "There's a hurricane warning. I'm gonna send everybody home." She said, upon which they all jumped up, grabbing their stuff.

"... everyone except the core crew..." She stopped them and looked at her best inspectors, namingly CD, Nate, Jinny, Magda and Raina. They groaned while those who got off left before Kate could say something else.

"Cap,I'm flattered ya think so highly of me...but I'd rather have ya consider me a grunt for now,and let me go home..." Jinny pouted.

"I can't let everybody go home, you all know that. So no more whining, go back to work." She said and walked back into her office.

"Shouldn't we barricade the windows and stuff, just in case?" Nate asked.

"Yeah,lets barricade her into her office!" Jinny smirked.

"Jinny!"Magda scolded.

"I HEARD THAT." Kate called out from her office and they all laughed. "But seriously, that's a good idea about the windows. Go do it." She commanded them.

"Oh fun." CD rolled her eyes and started to put stuff off her desk. Nate helped her and soon they had the desk empty.

Jinny gave them a look at that. "That looked like you both have a lot of practice when it comes to clearing off a desk..."

"Well usually we just sweep everything off..." Nate laughed but got a dirty look from CD for that.

"I don't think I wanna know anymore."Jinny raised her eyebrow,as she pushed her desk infront of Kate's office door,and saracastically blew her a kiss threw the window. Then her phone instantly rang. "Exstead." She answered.

"Exstead you have 5 senconds to move you desk! "Kate stated. "Five...four...three..."

Jinny at that sat down on her desk and laughed.

Kate knocked on her window and motioned the others to move the desk. In return for Jinny’s comment CD and Nate each took hold of the desk on either side and carried it, with Jinny on it still, to the window.

"Ready to lean it against the window?" CD asked.

"Won't she fall out of the window then?" Nate asked.

"So? What's your point?" CD asked and lifted her side some more, ready to lean it over.

"HEY!" Jinny protested and jumped off just in time to see how her stuff got scattered all over the ground before her desk covered another window.

"Magda,I'm scared."Raina pouted.

"Aww me too, come here chica." Magda said and opened her arms for her and they hugged.

"CD, I'm scared!" Nate pouted, hoping for a hug himself.

"So what? Go pee your pants somewhere else!" CD said, knowing exactly what he wanted.

"Well,poop! Cap sent all the hotties home, there's nobody for me to be scared to."Jinny pouted.

"Aww come here Jin, I have enough arms for both you and Raina." Magda said.

"Eh...no thanks, I'm okay." Jinny protested.

"Hang on... does that mean I'm not a hottie?" Nate now asked.

"Yeah,you're hot." Jinny grinned slyly "But uh....I'm just not that kinda girl...I'm mean your girlfriend’s standing right here."

"GIRLFRIEND?!?" CD asked shocked.

Nate grinned and wrapped his arms around her. "Wow, since when do you know?"

Jinny looked at them surprised. "I was just kidding actually... I mean there were rumors..." She glanced at Raina.

At that moment Kate walked out of her office again. "They just said the hurricane is nearing the coast..." She looked at Magda and Raina hugging and then at Nate and CD and then at Jinny. "What am I missing here?"

"Well,Gabe's on Tour,Jonah's workin tonight,and poor Raina...just kinda got tricked into a hug,I guess...and uh...I think they just admitted to the rumors." Jinny explained. "You and me are the only sane people left...and ironicaly I'm pretty loopy myself."

"I knew about that one.." Kate muttered and shook her head when Magda quickly stopped hugging Raina and shot a glare at Jinny.

CD and Nate blushed and let go of each other again as well.

Kate chuckled and nodded at them. "Just keep it to a minimum here and you'll be okay." She smiled. "I know how it is to be in love after all."

"Been around the block a few times,eh,Cap?" Jinny smirked.

"I don't kiss and tell Inspector Exstead." She grinned and walked back into her office.

"Aww come on!" The others of course immediately followed.

"Yeah Cap! Tell us a story about your younger days!" Raina grinned and sat down in one of the chairs in front of her desk.

"Yeah!" Nate laughed and sat down in the other chair. "How was it back then? Were you very sad when all the dinosaurs died?" He laughed as he pulled CD into his lap.

"Hunny, I'm the reason they're extinct...got a lil trigger happy." Kate pulle dback her coat to show her gun.

They all laughed at that while Nate hid behind CD. Magda and Jinny pulled their deskchairs into the office and sat down to the sides of her desk.

"Alright Captain Caveman... spill it." Jinny said. "Tell us about your big love."

"Excuse me?"Kate played innocent. "I don't know what you are talking about."

‘‘The days of LSD and Flower Power... you witnessed them." CD grinned.

"CD!" Magda was the one to scold again. "Cap never did that! She wouldn't do drugs."

"Uh...I'm gonna go get some coffee." Kate grabbed her already full mug and stood up.

"Let me get that for you!" Raina jumped up and took the mug from her frowning. "That's full..."

"Too much sugar..." Kate muttered as Raina left to get her a new fill

"So....how many flying elephants did ya see, when you were Raina's age?"Jinny cackled, and pretended to light up a joint,and smoke it.

CD laughed too as Jinny 'passed it on' to her and she pretended to take a drag herself and then held it out to Nate.

Mag rolled her eyes. "You're all very silly."

"We're all getting in the mood for Cap's stoner stories." CD laughed and pretended to smoke again, closing her eyes as she inhaled deeply.

"Oh,Come on! Cap wasn't a stoner! What is with you guys today?!" Magda scolded again.

"My nickname was Kit Kat."Kate mumbled.

At that Mag and Raina's jaws dropped wide open, Raina quickly handed Cap her coffee and sat back down while the other three laughed hard.

"You know that you're never gonna live that down again, right Kit Kat?" Jinny asked laughing as they all started to imagine Kate as a Hippie and the scene around them started to change as their thoughts drifted off and they imagined a San Francisco during the times when everybody wanted to change the world...

"Y'know,you look a LOT like my friend Janine, Jinny."Kate said as she thought back...

Jinny laughed. "Really?"

"Well... she was wearing other clothes... very short skirts, preferrably orange, her hair was in two long braids, a flowery blouse... leather boots with high heels... babyblue were her favorite ones. She wore them all the time." Kate said as Jinny looked down at her black as usual attire that slowly faded into what Kate was describing.

"Kaitlyn McCafferty." Professor Smith sighed at the sight of the young redhead, sitting behind the stadium bleachers, obviously flying high.

"Hey, Smithhhh...where's Poca...poca..gimme a minute... Pocahantisis... no that's not right." SHe laughed.

He scratched his head and sighed when he heard more giggles and behind Kate saw two of her friends, one braiding her black hair innocently and the other one grinning at him, hiding her hands behind her back.

The young professor shook his head and sighed again. "Come on girls, get out of there."

"Spoilsport!" The tall blonde pouted. "You come under here." She giggled and winked at the handsome dark haired man.

"Candy, sexual...whatever...having sex with a proffessor is illegal on this camfus!"Kate scolded. "Camfus...is a very weird word...have ya ever noticed that Shmithhh?"

He slightly blushed at that and quickly looked away from the blonde student and back to the obviously highest one of them. "That might be because it's campus Miss McCafferty." He corrected her.

"Aaaaah ah ah..." She shook her finger at him giggling. "So you admit that you DO wanna have sex with my friend Candy here?" Kate put her arm around her shoulder while Janine laughed at that matchmaking attempt.

Candy winked at the professer who had caught her attention long ago... not because of the subjects he was teaching though. "Free Love."

"Free Love..." He repeated mumbling and shook his head. "Girls, I'm not kidding here... get out of there, drop any illegal substances you might have with you, or else I will have to report you."

"Should I put it out firth..firth...oh screw it."Kate giggled.

"Yes,you should put it out first." He rolled his eyes, took the joint,and put it out.

"I wanted to do it." She pouted.

"Oh,I'm sure there'll be a next time,you can do it then." He sighed,and helped her up."Can ya walk on your own?"

"Yesh!" SHe rolled her eyes,took one step and fell into his arms. "Nope... haha thats a funny word toooo." She said as he tossed her over his shoulder. "Wahooo! Shmithhhh is gettin friskaaaay!"

"No,Shmithhh is taking you home." He mocked her.

"UH,we should probably go to a hotel...don't the want wife to catch us....hehe, wife...another funny word!" Kate giggled.

"I'm not married" He muttered.

"I have another funny word!" Kate giggled and pinched his behind. "BUTTTTTTTT"

Janine and Candy followed them, Janine laughing while Candy was slightly pissed because she wasn't the one over his shoulders right now.

"Cut it out!" The professer called out, not amused at all about Kate's 'funny words'.

"Butt! Haha,thats my new favorite word!"She gigled,slapping his butt again.

"Stop grabbing my ass!" He yelled.

"Ass..a verien of butt..and also another funny word!" She giggled more. "Hey,Shmithhh..."

"Hey,McCaffertyyy..." He mocked her again.

"Shmithhhhh, you have a very nice butt asss...."She slapped it again.

"STOP IT!" He yelled which just caused her to giggle more and do it again.

"Oooooooowwwwwwwwww!" A cry came from behind him and he turned around, to see Candy sitting on the ground, rubbing her ankle.

"You okay?" Janine asked her.

"No I'm not!" She hissed at her. "That's what I get for wearing your stupid blue boots!"

"They're babyblue!" Janine protested. "And they look amazing because they suit your eyes!"

"Oh screw it. My pot is gone cause Kit Kat couldn't get enough again and now my ankle is sprained because of your damn boots! Some friends..." She muttered.

Kate giggled. "Spraaaaaaained.... yet another..."

"Funny word, yeah yeah." Nathanial Smith cut her off.

"Not as funny as BUTT!" She giggled and smacked the one in front of her face again. "Hey can you sprain a butt Smithey?"

He growled and looked at Candy. "Can you walk?"

Janine helped her up and she tried to limp. "Ouch! That hurts!" She pouted at him.

He sighed and put Kate down and looked at Janine. "You help the lady with the funny words to walk." He said and picked up Candy, carrying her in his arms. "You should probably see a doctor about that ankle."

"Oh so you're just gonna toss me aside coz that big blonde bitch has a boo boo?!"Kate pouted.

"It's okay, KitKat, I still love ya." Janine gave her a big slobbery kiss on the cheek.

"Aw,thanks Janiney....heheh,another funny word!" She giggled.

Candy glared at her right away. "I'm not a bitch, and you better watch it or you're gonna be the one with the boo boo!"

"Boobooooo!" Kate laughed. "You Booboooo! Me Yogyyyyy!"

"Then who am I?" Janine asked. "And who is Smithey?" Now she poked his butt. "What's your first name anyways? Smithey is so... formal."

‘’First of it's Smith."He rolled his eyes. "Second of all,it's Nathaniel... but you may call me Professor Smith."

"Hehehe, that rhymes with spaniel." Kate giggled, "and they are bothhh funny words!"

"Can I call you handsome?" Candy grinned at him.

"Yeah,what the hell." He sighed.

"Hey! Don't call my friend 'the hell'! Kate warned.

"Peace, feel the peace... find your center, KitKat." Janine instructed calmly.

"How can I find my peace if handsome from hell took my dope away?" Kate glared at her friend.

"That was MY dope." Candy protested and looked at Nate. "You owe me that!"

"I owe YOU??? YOU owe ME! How many times have I NOT reported you?? ? And I've even covered for you a couple of times! Let me tell, my patience is wearing thin with you spoiled brats!" He yelled.

"Peace, feel the peace, Smithy-poo... find your center." Janine instructed again.

"Yeah,deep breath in... it would be much more relaxing with a lil dope smoke in it... but you took that away... anyways,just take a deep breath, it's all gooooood." Kate added,demonstrating for him.

"Exactly baby..." Candy rolled her eyes and looked over his shoulder, at her friends. "Hey I still have some stuff at home... my mom and dad are working anyways, we can all go to my place and chill out... and show Smithey how to relax."

"I'll show him how to relax." Kate stated with a sly grin.

"But do you think Louis will like that?" Janine asked.

"Oh yeah..." Kate remembered her live in boyfriend, "Damn it! ...he's always spoilin the fun!"

Candy jumped out of the prof's arms and took his hand. "Come on Smithey."

"Right on!" Janine laughed and took his other hand, while Kate still was holding onto her other one and they just dragged the protesting Smithey along with them, to Candy's place.

The scene changed and everyone was gathered around Kate’s office again, coming back to reality again after imagining what Kate had been telling them.

"Gawd,I wish I had known you back then!"Jinny laughed hysterically. "Who'd a thunk it... Kate McCafferty... a stoner!"
