For a 1945 dime? I asked a man for change for a quarter, and he gave me two dimes and a nickel. One of them was an old dime, so old that it doesn't even have a president on it, but a woman. How much money do you think I can get and where do I turn this in?

........................... why in blue hell would you need to turn it in? it's YOURS. just because its rare doesnt mean its illegal. i have alot of coins from the 40's and before.

No one said it was illegal. They just wanted to know if it was worth something and where you would go to turn it in.

i know i mean that why would you have to turn it in unless its illegal to keep? like if you find someones wallet and keep it thats illegal but its just a friggan dime.

They meant turn it in for money....Not turn it in because it belongs to someone else.

Are you sure it's not the Queen on it. Otherwise, you might have a Canadian dime in your hands. They're only worth 10¢.
