Default Last couple of episodes in season 5 - Such a soap opera!

I was just watching the 5th season finale the other day. I haven't seen the following seasons yet, but I hope they're not as bad as the last 3 or 4 eps of season 5! Starting with the one where Annie finds out she has a sister she never knew about. How corny was that! And especially the two-part finale, I mean, I really felt like I was watching a stinkin soap. Does anybody else feel that way?I basically like 7H, and I liked the first seasons a lot. So please tell me it gets better in the next seasons!

In my opinion its better, but it is, in some way turning into a 'soap' like show. I like some soap opera's, so it doesn't bother me. This past season was very good in my opinion because the whole Simon thing made it interesting, but thats just my opinion.

Eh, I hate to break it to you, but not really. Season 5,6,7 are the worst. The current season, season 8 get's a little better though. I think they are starting to realize that their writing is more soap opera like than a drama...so they improved...a little.

But that is just my opinion. I also like season 1-3 the best.

Personally, I think it's all downhill from season 5. Seasons 1-4 are the best, they're why I enjoy 7H. It's just not the same now that Matt, Mary and Simon are gone. I still watch because I've always liked the show, but it's definitely trying my patience this season.

Seasons 3-6 were the best. Season 8 is so boring, that I can sleep before it ends.
