Good post. I wish i could vote for more than one album. My favorite is probably Hotter Than July but i really like his Songs In The Key Of Life, In Square Circle, The Woman In Red soundtrack, Jungle Fever soundtrack albums also. This man has really amazed me all these yrs cause i'm impressed by how a blind man can make all this wonderful music that he has done over the yrs. There are people out here that are artists that have good sight & they make terrible music so what's their excuse? LOL.

His Characters & Talking Book albums are very good also. I like his song Send One Your Love a lot. I don't know what album that song is on.

I'm not familiar with all of his work, but I had Songs In The Key Of Life, and I loved it, so I voted for it.

Busta Rhymes did a song with Erykah Badu called One on his When Disaster Strikes cd where he samples Stevie's Love's In Need Of Love Today song from his Songs In The Key Of Life album. I like how Busta sampled Stevie's song. A Tribe Called Quest also sampled the beginning of Stevie's Sir Duke song where the horns are playing on their song Footprints on their first cd. Sir Duke is from Stevie's Songs In The Key Of Life album also.

I co-sign, on both the album and the song. Especially when you realize he was just 22 or 23 years old when he did Innervisions. Could you imagine Usher, Tyrese or anyone around that age today making an album that good? Writing, producing, playing most of the instruments himself.

Secret Life Of Plants is the album that Send One Your Love was originally on, then on a few of his hits compilations, like Musiquarium and Song Review.

I agree, right now, there are NO r&b artists, especially not in their early/mid 20's, who have the talent that Stevie, Michael and Prince all had at that age.

1979.

By the way, I'm hearing "Living For the City" (from Innervisions) on Bob Harris's BBC Radio 2 show (the single edit) right now!
