Who remembers the case about Kristi Krebs? Kristi is a missing teenager that disappeared about 10 years ago. Kristi has history of mental illness and is feared to have had a nervous breakdown. Kristi disappeared after she left work and went out for a long drive and ended up in the woods. Her car got stuck in the mud, caught on fire and she wandered off. When her car was found, there were ripped up pictures by her car and she might of changed into her gym clothes. A trucker had seen Kristi's missing person flyer and came forward that he had picked up a hitchhiker that looked and acted exactly like Kristi, and he's positive that it was her. Are there any updates to this baffling case?

Yes, as a matter of fact I just watched this show today on one of my tapes. I did a search on her and found her story on the missing websites and none of them mentioned ever finding her. Oddly too, I don't remember them saying on the UM story (maybe they did) that in her second car that was found abandoned they found her bra, panties, wallet and drivers license. This was one of these cases where I didn't really feel that she was dead, I think she's just wandering the streets somewhere and doesn't know who she is.

It's a very interesting case. I didn't know that her bra and panties were also found, it's kind of peculiar because when you change your clothes, you don't necessarily change out of your bra and panties. Maybe she was so out of it she didn't know what she was changing out of when putting on her gym clothes. I should do a internet search to find out more about this case. She's been missing for such a long time, I hope she's still alive and just wandering around the country not knowing who she is. Her parents must be suffering so much through this. She was working two jobs at the time of her disappearance when she was supposed to only work 20 hours a week, but I don't know if it attributed to her having another nervous breakdown. What probably caused her breakdown was getting stuck in the woods.

I asked about her too, awhile back (archives titles, "once again, stuck in the mud". This case bugs me. I dont think she shoudl have been working so much being so unstable.

It shouldn't be too difficult to find her. She had serious mental problems (don't remember what they were), and I think I remember that she had a disfigured thumb.
But, she's been missing a long time. At least a decade. Strange. |
