Angry I Hate Paid Programs!!

I can't stand them. Remember TV stations would run old Classic TV shows on weekend afternoons or late nights. Now they show nothing but dumb infomercials and paid programs. I don't know one person that purchased a product from these wasted half hour TV spots. I wish they would have a seperate cable channel and dump all of these paid programs on it.

Okay. Enough of my ranting for today.

I can't stand those things either. I'd much rather see an old movie or TV show.

Heh heh...I feel the same way.

The other day, there was this infomercial on for the "Germ Terminator". W......T.......F......?! I have never heard the word "Terminator" said SO many times before! And every time they said that word, I thought of Arnold Schwarzeggener.

They can fall off the face of the earth for all I care, even though a few of them aren't so bad. I'm just tired of seeing them when they could be showing movies and whatnot like they used to. USA had Night Flight going until around 3 am every weekend, plus there were movies (great scary ones in the afternoons) and Double Trouble - now, no more!

I can't stand them either. They are all a much of actors trying to be excited about a product. Plus I get cable and I don't think I should be paying $42 a month for info-commercials.

except the ones that get on my nerves are weight loss and hair restoring crap. THEY ALL SAY THE SAME THINGS. except for the 6-week body makeover, that looks like it would really work and its not some crappy exercising machine "oh its so easy and fun and i lost all this weightand the other brands suck" they ALL say that.

Arrow Ron Popeil, Ginsu Knife, From Ronco, Act Now, Operators Standing By

Jerry Seinfeld had a funny bit on infomercials. He said something to the effect of...
"Why does everything seem so useful on TV at 3 am? That's just what I need! -- a knife that can cut my sneaker in half!!"

I can't stand infomercials -- particularly the ones that pose as the real thing, such as cooking or talk shows or whatever.

My question is: Why don't they advertise their junk on the Home Shopping Channel?

I don't know one person that buys their products.
