Default TVLand's Kitschen...

SUCKS really bad.

I mean REALLY bad.

Batman has enough episodes that they can air it in a regular time slot. They did last year - I taped almost all of them. I''m indifferent about Shazam. I've never seen it anywhere else so I'm okay with it being there but COME ON.

They take off Kotter, Pegs, WKRP and Tabitha/My Favorite Martian/Fernwood 2 Nite and add....ugh.

I hope this Kitschen changes and fast. I'm watching elsewhere.

The blue sky, the desert earth, stretching out into the eerie infinity. A beautiful never-ending nothing.

I agree. They should only have 1 or 2 season shows there. Like "The Ropers," "Angie," "Gidget," "Temperatures Rising," "The Girl with Something Extra," etc. Shows like WBK, Batman, Superman, MHMH and Soap deserve weekday slots. MHMH had 325 episodes, not to mention the around 160 episodes of "Forever Fernwood," the sequel series.

Glad it's not just me that thinks that way. They could add Double Trouble...

Well there are a lot of shows they could add but what they have in there now is crappy. I thought the kitcschen was for obscure stuff, short run, etc.

Shazam is okay - it's Kitschen-ish. But the rest is not.

For my kitschen, I'd have Gidget (32), Flying Nun (80), Shazam! (24), Small Wonder (96), Joanie Loves Chachi (17 eps.), and Getting By (32 eps. w/Cindy Williams in case nobody knows)

It's suppose to be for rare and obscure shows, but I guess TV Land thinks Batman is a rare show. As long as TV Land doesn't have any competiton , they are going to continue to run the same shows 4 times a day . I was told that money was the biggest issue as to why they don't get more shows. I say Bull to that junk. The prices they charge to run a commercial plus the revenue they get from all the cable companies that have TV Land on their line up , they are making a killing. So the bottom line is cheap, cheap, cheap.

I agree with those choices, except for "Flying Nun" (which had 83 episodes, btw) and "Small Wonder." They had enough episodes so that they should have weekday slots. I say any sitcom with 45+ episodes should be banned from the Kitschen.

I agree...I haven't liked the KitSchen since its original line-up of Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, The Monkees, and Fernwood 2 Night. The shows they've added since then don't interest me as much as those shows did (although I was never a big fan of 2 Night). This line-up is the worst yet, though, IMO.

I agree that Shazaam is a good show for the kitschen, but the rest should be replaced by shows like Angie, Double Trouble, The Ropers, Too Close For Comfort, BJ and the Bear, and That's My Mama.
