Default Something I noticed....

In episode "A Night Not To Remember", Jack accidentally falls asleep in Janet's bed while drugged up. He wakes up in the morning to find himself sleeping beside her. LOL!! Classic!!
I was watching the part where Jack falls off her bed in the morning and Janet yawns and turns around to lay flat on her stomach. Look carefully at the part when Janet's turning around, she opens her eyes and laughs. She covers this up by immediately burying her face in the pillow. It takes a while but you'll catch it!!

Joyce was known to pull a "Carol Burnett Show," or laugh at what the other actors/actresses are doing. In "Two Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," when Janet and Jack are 'talking' to Tom, Jack asks Tom "How are you?" and immediatly afterwards, Janet offers Tom "Nuts?" After she says that, you can notice that they edited part out there because they cut to Jack and Tom, then, when they show Joyce again, her head is bowed and you can see a smile on her face. I remember seeing the actual clip of her laughing on the ABC 50th Anniversary Blooper Special.

OMG! I always see her start laughing or smile when she shouldnt. you can also see her look like she is about to crack up. i have never noticed that specific one before but i have noticed in the same episode she is smiling when jack is scratching her leg. if you look closly she is smiling. lol. also in the episode "an affair to forget" when jack and "scooter" are in the room, she hears them and think that they are doing something that they werent. the faces she makes some of them are cover ups for the fact that she is about to start laughing. in that episode you can really see that. i guess even the most well educated actors cant help but laugh.

I noticed that part then he scratches her leg! She does smile and tries to cover up! But I didn't noticed the part when she turns around! I'll have to check that out I guess that with a funny show like that it was hard not to laugh and break character!

I have got to give them a lot of credit, because I would be cracking up all the time.........guess that is why I am not an actress. But can you imagine how hard it would have been to keep a straight face...........I don't care what the people on VH1 say about the poor acting that was on that show, they were some of America's best to be able to do that show in front of a live audience without laughing. :-)

I'm watching it now I don't see what you are talking about. Unless you have some UNCUT version. I rewinded that part 10 times and Janet eyes are not open. She doesn't open her eyes until Jack leaves the room.

I totally agree with you guys. It must've been very hard not to laugh. Especially working with John Ritter. I know if I ever try to make it as an actress and I end up on a sitcom....oh boy!!
