I was just wondering which 'cable cord' you all use when copying from one VCR to another.

The main (black) cord, which usually comes with the VCR, I heard this gives the worst picture when copying.

Then a step up from that would be the red, yellow, and white cord.

Then the S- Video cord.

I've heard the best cord to use would be the "Monster Cable". (Does anyone actually use this? It's like $30 and I was wondering if the picture was that much better.)

You've got it correct on all counts.

I use monster cables exclusively. Never tested it to see if I can tell a difference, but I feel better about it.
