Does anyone remember a television movie that Jimmy Walker did. It was about a basketball player, who was diagnosed with leukiemia. I think the title of the movie was "The Greatest Thing That Almost Happened."

Does anyone remember seeing this?

I saw that it came out in 1977 but I never saw the movie

I vaguely remember it. I think he died at the end but don't quote me on that.

The movie isn't available to buy but they're offering the book for sale minimum $99 on half.com

I've seen this movie a few times on BET Starz. Debbie Allen co-starred with him. It was actually pretty good. If you have BET Starz, be on the lookout because they may bring it back on at anytime.
