Help! Sherman Helmsley (Mr. Jefferson) on Dif't Strokes? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I am so positive that I recall an episode of Different Stokes on which Mr. and Mrs. Jefferson guest star. I bet a friend $20 and now I can't find any winning references on any website.

Please help! Is there anyone out there who can provide a link or other proof that this actually happened?

It never happened. Gary Coleman did appear on The Jeffersons though as their nephew Raymond. This was before Diff'rent Strokes premiered - the Jeffersons episode aired in February 1978.
