Default What will come to Lifetime next?

Designing Women, The Nanny and The Golden Girls have been on Lifetime for a LONG time. I understand the ratings are good so they will stick around.

Ellen starts (YAHOO!) next week in the middle of the night and Suddenly Susan is still running in the a.m. Caroline In The City didn't have a very long stay so I'm wondering...what might show up next on Lifetime? Insight? Clues?

I'd like to see Veronica's Closet or somethign like that. Nothing that has been played out anywhere else. I'm ready for something new

Guesses anyone?

The blue sky, the desert earth, stretching out into the eerie infinity. A beautiful never-ending nothing.

What they need to do is to start airing Golden Palace episodes adjacent to GG. Facts of Life could also be a nice addition to Lifetime!

Will and Grace and Caroline in the City are apparently coming either in 2004 or 2005. Maybe Pavanbadal will tell us when he gets back from vacation.

The only other announced sitcom coming to Lifetime is "Will & Grace" in fall 2005. By then WGN will not be airing it anymore.

Caroline in the City already came to Lifetime in April 2003, but hasn't aired since October 2003, when Suddenly Susan came.

I hope that changes in between now and then. Of course I'm happy about Will and Grace since I love the show but I'd love to see something new, a little obscure and a change from what's there now.

Thanks Pav, nice to have you back

They aired it for a SHORT amount of time, but it disappeared as fast as it appeared. I agree, it would be good on there...

Low ratings caused Murphy Brown to be cancelled so quick... I'd said it's doubtful they bring it back.

In a few years i think that "Hope and Faith" will be a great addition to Lifetime...

also Grace Under Fire would be a perfect fit for Lifetime...

I'd also like to see Lifetime pick-up second-run dramas again, Ally McBeal, Part Of Five, Felicity, Gilmore Girls and Judging Amy would all be good additions to the lineup.

I could picture Sex and The City on Lifetime in a few years after the TBS contract expires

I also agree with Ally McBeal, that show is perfect for Lifetime, I think there's only a year left on the FX contract

Will & Grace should arrive in 2005 and then Frasier in 2006. I think Reba is also in 2006.

The Nanny and Mad About You will move to Nick@Nite in a couple of years.

Designing Women was dropped at the end of October along with Laverne & Shirley, although I think DW still has one airing every Saturday (or Sunday) night at like 1am.
