Yep, he was also on Bewitched and Beverly Hillbillies. He made his last TV appearance on an episode of Here's Lucy in 1974, and passed away in 1975...I really liked his Mr. Cheever role. He could really let loose and scream sometimes, but other times he just acted goofy and funny like a big galoot. Cool character...

I always wondered where I had seen that guy before-- it was on Bewitched. I think he played Darrin's father or something like that.

...didn't really start playing "Mr. Cheever" until the last season (1967-'68). It was a clever way of letting us know that Mr. Mooney could be bullied by someone even HIGHER than his position at the bank [just as he bullied Lucy]. Roberts could match Gale Gordon, bluster for bluster, when he had to {"MOONEY, YOU'RE FIRED!!"/"Mrs. Carmichael, YOU'RE fired!"/"You hear that, plant? I'm fired! W-a-a-a-h-h-h-h...."}.
