I can get most of it but when Edith screeches I have no clue what she's saying.

Boy the way Glen Miller played, songs that made the hit parade, guys like us we had it made, those were the days, and you know where you were then, girls were girls and men were men, mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again, didn't need no welfare states everybody pulled his weight, gee our old Lasalle ran great, those were the days!

i seriously luv singing that theme song soley because of the 'screeching'

Actually, it's "and you knew who you were then"

I love all the versions, especially when Edith screeches. On one version she makes a mistake on the piano. I haven't heard it for awhile, so I can't remember which season it is.
