Default Favorite Monty Python movie/movies

Of the ones that I've seen (I've seen all of them except Meaning of Life and Live at the Hollywood Bowl), my absolute favorite was the Holy Grail. My second favorite is Life of Brian and my third favorite is And Now For Something Completely Different. Because these movies are so good and hard to pick just one, I've made it so that you can select more than one.

I got the Monty Python and the Holy Grail Collectors Edition and it has tons of bonus features plus it has the screenplay and a collectible film cell. Awesome gift. I want to get Life of Brian on DVD.

I've only seen The Meaning of Life and Life of Brian- even though I live in the UK- I've never seen Holy Grail. I'm looking to see 'And now for something completely different'- it's just a selection of sketches isn't it? But in the UK there's almost always a Python film on- mostly Life of Brian because it seems to be the one people in the UK like more. The Meaning of Life is my favourite though.

There's a few other films Terry Gilliam and one or two other people involved with Monty Python did and when they show them on sci-fi they advertise them as Python films, which they definitely are not; Time Bandits and Jabberwocky- I taped Jabberwocky to watch- thinking it'd be a hilarious comedy- and I was completely wrong. Time Bandits- I've never seen from start to finish.

Monty Python's Flying Circus is almost always on all year- at the moment paramount comedy 2 play it- but it's on very late (just before SNL- damn the schedule ppl to hell)- but I've watched flying circus a few time- it's hilarious.

Does anyone know if Terry Gilliam (or it may have been Eric Idle) is doing 'Remains of the Piano' still?

It's really close between holy grail and Brian...but I'm gonna have to go with "life of Brian". Very funny movie!

Brian, I have seen Meaning of Life and Holy Grail but Life of Brian I haven't seen nor Now For Something Completely Different!! BTW Eric Idle is directing The Remains of the Piano!! I got almost all of the Flying Circus shows 1-39 that will eventually complete the series when I get 40-45!! I take it you are a Python fan!!! I have loved Python since 1989!!

I'll go with Meaning of Life. The scene where Cleese demonstrates sex ed to the students is a laugh riot!
