I don't think they are portrayed as the ugly and pretty sister. Mona is more of a free spirit while her half sister is conservative, in a way.

Mona is more of the sister with low self esteem and her sister is totally high maintenance!

Essence Atkins is better looking than Rachel True to me. I'd date Essence before i would Rachel. Rachel always plays airhead characters. She was a airhead in CB4 movie as Chris Rock's girl & she always talks like a white girl.

You have the right to your own opinion and dating preference but Rachel True grew up in very white upstate New York. She admitted in her own interviews that her and her brother were like the only blacks at their school. And obivously since she been influence more around white people how can you expected her to talk like Eve? Personally Rachel and I are simliar as far as dressed like a hippie and being noncomformist. I am sick and tired of my black people have this viewed of who is black and not. So what if Rachel True talks white she still is black (actually she's black and white) and I seen all the time of how blacks folks criticized another because they don't speak ebonics or "talk black." Those attitudes are why blacks are so divided.

I kindof like Rachel better. But they finally admitted that she was short. I guess those big clunky shoes are started to hurt after hours and hours of shooting a t.v show!

Oh so that's why Rachel talks like a white girl cause she went to a mostly white high school. I didn't know that. She probably would've talked black if she went to a mostly black school. Dewalliz u do have a point about why blacks are divided cause blacks clown other blacks for not being black as far as talkin black language & being cool.
