The details I remember are very sketchy, so please forgive me.
The segment was about this teenage girl who went to get something at a grocery store for her father late at night. It showed a little grocery store with bright neon lights and the camera shows the girl walking back home with a brown paper grocery sack down a very dark street. Also, I think this is related to this case, but I could possibly be mixing two different episodes up. The girl was supposedly seen in the same town or a nearby town. An old women claimed to have seen her, possibly with another girl. I know it's not much, but it's basically all I can recall. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

That sounds like the Kerri Lynn Nixon/Nickson sp? case. She went missing while running an errand for her dad. A year or so later she and another girl were reportedly spotted by a woman at a park. When the other girl was questioned, she was unable to give any information because she suffered from a memory loss and could not recall anything about that day.
I remember seeing an update on this case and I think they said she was found dead and they believe she was killed shortly after she went missing. It's been a long time since I've seen this story so I can't remember all the details but I hope this helps. |

Thanks Mijada!
I've googled her name and a variety of spellings of it but haven't come up with anything yet. Thank you very much though.

If you're interested, I have this story on one of my tapes as well as the update. Yes, a man admitted to the rape and murder of Carrie Lynn Nixon the night she disappeared and led police to her body. So I guess the part where that girl was giving her name as Carrie Lynn Nixon wasn't really her. I always figured that girl was a runaway and maybe she heard a news story about Carrie being missing and decided to use her name.

Thanks crystaldawn. I'm new here and I feel kind of silly asking this, but would you rip the tape and put it on the net? Or sell it? Or... ?
Unfortunately, I haven't found anything about her on the net. Probably because the mystery was solved, there isn't any need to have information about her on the net. |

I will make you a copy of my vhs tape and mail it to you. You can send me $5 to cover the cost of a tape and postage or you can send me a blank tape and a prepaid mailer and I will mail it back to you. Let me know.

Sorry, I haven't been able to post for awhile.
That's ok, I don't need the footage of the case. Thank you anyway though, crystaldawn.
