I went to my favorite bar and a poker game broke out...
Suddenly I found myself playing Texas Holdem with former Detroit Pistons great Bill Lambeer.

Nice guy.

Really tall.

Can you believe he's now a women's basketball coach? He coached the WNBA Detroit Sparks to the championship this year. It's probably not everyday you run into a 7 foot tall person.

Yeah, the guy is huge!

I was sitting there and this tall guy walks by my roommate, who's like six feet two, and he was dwarfed by this guy.
I remarked to my friend about the tall stranger, and he loks at him and says "Oh cool, Bill Lambeer's here tonight."
Apparently, he's become a semi regular at the bar I hang out in.

That's cool. Bill Lambier was always one of my favorites, because you never knew what he was going to do in a game. I especially enjoyed some of his games against Portland in the late 80's/ early 90's. So how did he do? I mean did it look like he was winning, or losing money? Either way it probably doesn't really matter. Along with coaching, he's also been doing some commentary for the NBA, so I'm sure he's making a butt load of money. Anyway, that's cool that you got to see him! Did you get his autograph?

Actually, he was out of the game early.

Players bought into the game with 20 bucks.
He went all in on a hand and lost.
Thems the breaks with high stakes poker.
