I'm bored of the Rings as well.
The movies are way too long. Too much monotone dialong. Too many scenes of the characters staring at each other. At several points it looked like Sam and Frodo were going to start kissing. The people that like them just watch for the violence they contain. |

Well, as I've stated in the other thread and several on the movie thread, I love them. I absolutely love the storyline, I love the fact that it's in a time completely different than our own. I think the films are wonderfully done. Peter Jackson has done wonders with Tolkien's masterpiece. I also can see how these movies aren't for everyone. Not everyone can get as into the whole fantasy thing. I'm just fond of movies like this, I like the Star Wars movies a lot too.
