Default GAHHH Someone STOLE my kids bike!

I am so sick of this!

I am so sick of the heathens where I live!

First they dig through the dumpsters taking stuff I've thrown away.

Then they break into my shed and steal the burned items from my car fire (camcorder, work bags, purse)...

and NOW THEY STOLE MY DAUGHTERS BRAND NEW BIKE.

She got a bike for Christmas - someone donated it to her anonymously from Santa. It was IN MY SHED with a lock. THEY CUT THROUGH THE WIRING in between the sheds and TOOK IT. She doesn't even know - I am so upset I dont know whether to cry or be angry. The cops came out and took a report the first time it happened but they didn't even file it, it wasn't in the paper or anything.

I am so upset

(I JUST found this out, I was taking garbage to the dumpster and walked past the sheds.)

The blue sky, the desert earth, stretching out into the eerie infinity. A beautiful never-ending nothing.

That's terrible. I hope you get your daughter's bike back, and I hope the theives get what's coming to them....like a big bike crash and a broken arm.

The shed by mine is empty with no lock on it. There is no way to find out who did it. Probably the same jerks who stole my burned stuff.

no nosey neighbors heard or saw anything?

did any of your neighbors get ripped off, or do you think maybe someone saw you put the bike/other stuff in there?

I think they know I put it in there. I dont live in the best housing situation but it's where I have to live for the time being.

These kids around here are put outside in the morning and dont go in until night. Kids that are barely out of diapers outside playing by themselves, with no supervision. I dont know why I'm so surprised or upset - it's typical for how things are here.

There is a grocery store that drops off the day past expired bread from their store each weekend. These kids go and make bread bombs from those things - throwing them off the top of the mail center, jumping on them, making a horrible mess. There is never anyone to supervise them or tell them they are wrong. It's so sad but this was one of my daughters Christmas presents for God sake

I did when it happened a couple of weeks ago and they did nothing. I'm telling you it's expected that stuff like this goes on here and no one does a thing to rectify it. Not the cops, not the housing authority, no one.

You should put something else in the shed, and then keep watching it..They're bound to come back. Then you can catch them and beat the living hell out of them

No, what you do is put something in there like Tim said, and put crazy glue all over the handles and put some tacks in too. Or you can buy a dummy and make it look like a dead person so when they go in there, theyre scared s***less.

I'm so sorry. I hope the police get the people that took your daughters bike, and they return in. People that are theives are about the worst kind of people in the world. Anyone that could steal a kid's bike must be a sad person.

I'm SO sorry that your daughters bike was stolen. There are such stupid people today, and people who steal are horrible. I wish the police would DO something. For Pete's sake, this is a CRIME!
