anyone know the official status of this show?
I know it's days are numbered, one way or another. But I'm hoping they at least air a few more episodes. |

If it comes back it will likely be on a Friday Night to burn off the episodes that have not been aired. Its as good as gone because Fox is investing all of their time in American Idol until May. It might return in the summer on Wednesdays ( its original night). I know they were suppose to air a Christmas episode a few weeks ago on December 22 a Monday Night, but it was replaced by a King of the Hill repeat at the last minute. So that does not look good at all.

That's dissapointing to hear. I hope they will at least air the reamining episodes during the summer, or something.
I know you could say the same thing for about 1000 different shows over the past decade, but how did AMWSH really have a chance? It only showed for 3 consecutive weeks in it's original Wednesday slot, and only showed on 5 different nights in all. How in the world is any show supposed to establish itself with a 6-episode run on an inconsistent schedule? |

Official cancelation is now in:
"A Minute With Stan Hooper" has lived up to its title. Fox has pulled the plug on the frosh laffer, which starred Norm MacDonald. Thirteen episodes were produced, but only six aired. Despite some solid reviews, "Stan" never gained any traction in its 8:30 p.m. Wednesday timeslot following "That '70s Show." Skein averaged only a 2.4/7 among adults 18-49 and attracted an average of only 5.1 million viewers overall, according to Nielsen. Fox tried out the show once on Friday night, but the results weren't any better. Net doesn't have to worry about what to fill the slot with: The "American Idol" results show was always skedded to bump "Stan" come January. |
