Thumbs down Nanny is a DISGRACE

How can you like this show? It's all about a woman who is hunting the boss, she is ANNOYINGLY on screen 99% of the air time, she is not funny at all. Most of all, VERY DISTURBING AND ANNOYING...This is the worst show on TV, and I wish Lifetime stopped showing these episodes and show more Golden Girls instead.

So don't watch it. No one forces you too.

I personally think the Nanny is hilarious - one of the best TV shows of the 90's, right up there with Ellen. It was full of physical comedy and comedic wit, the chemistry between Fran and Maxwell and Niles and C.C. was classic. This show had some of the undoubted best comments of any show I've ever seen.

It is highly underrated and I wish more people would watch it to give it the credit it deserves.

And as shocking as this may seem, when you are the STAR of the show you probably WILL be on screen 99% of the time.

On my left, I saw days upon days of lipstick and ticking clocks, dirty looks and quiet whisperings. And burning secrets that just won't ever die away. And on my right, what could I picture? The blue sky, the desert earth, stretching out into the eerie infinity. A beautiful never-ending nothing.

Well said, Nanny Fine (Hehe, your username reminds me of C.C.!). I think this is one of the funniest sitcoms ever. Every episode has at least one quotable line of dialogue and the characters play off each other perfectly.

Well, The Nanny is bringing in more numbers in it's past year on Lifetime than the Golden Girls (which, I also LOVE) ever did. It's now one of the most watched syndicated shows on the most watched syndicated network (Lifetime).

So, apparently, quite a few people don't see things the same way you do. Why get so bent out of shape over something like a sitcom, anyway?

You made your point in the other thread, kid but I find it fascinating coming from someone who uses the name of the worst shlock restaurant on the PLANET for a screen name. What's your point coming to the Nanny board, then? Just to vent two posts about your distaste for the show? I suggest you buzz off and post on boards more in your ilk. Whatever that may be. "The Nanny" is a sweet sitcom about Family Life and Romance. It's not the greatest sitcom in the history of television but just what do YOU consider is? Not that I care of course because the only thing I consider "disturbing and annoying" are posts such as yours planted on FAN populated boards for the purpose of insighting and inflaming the fans. """ YAWN """"

Never liked this show and I suspect the IQ level of people who like it...
What's YOUR IQ, Einstein? I suspect a couple side-by-side breadsticks from The Olive Garden.

Theres no reason to come on here and bash it. If you dont like it thats your choice but theres no point of bashing it on here. I think its a cute show.
