Hey all,
Think this show will ever be released on DVD? Seems doubtful, since the entirety of 'Three's Company' is not even guaranteed. I think the only way we'll have a chance of seeing this show released is if 'Three's Company' does well in DVD sales, resulting in all of the seasons being released. So folks, start buying up those TC DVDs. It's the only way I think this show has a chance of seeing release, as well as the other spin-off 'Three's a Crowd'. I'm not sure if either show was good or not (it's been a LONG time since I've seen them) but I'm a completist and I have to have everything. For starters, I bought a copy of Season one for myself and 3 extras to give as presents for Christmas. We can do this... Ed |

Of course there are but you've missed the point. Who in their right minds would release a spin-off of a show when the primary show failed to sell itself? No way will 'The Ropers' see release if 'Three's Company' doesn't sell...

[i]I hope it comes on DVD too because even though short-lived, it was a very, very, funny show.

I hope this show makes it to DVD! I would def. buy it! I think the Roperes were really cute!~ and they always made me laugh! I would prefer this one out instead of TAC! But I see the point! TC needs to do well in sells so that we can have all the seasons out on DVD! I am hoping we will get them, b/c some of my fav. episodes are in the later seasons!

If all 8 seasons of THREE'S COMPANY sell extremely well, the producers and all involved are going to want to capitalize on that as much as possible, and to do that they would surely release the one season of THREE'S A CROWD and the 1 1/2 seasons of THE ROPERS. It would make the most business sense, since both shows are hardly ever shown in syndication, so they'd count on fans wanting to see them just out of curiousity. Even if both shows are extremely awful (which is open for debate), you're talking about a one shot deal since both shows didn't last long. So it's not like it would be a huge investment for fans to check both shows out. I would buy it, most definitely, as would most fans, if only to have the complete series. But this can only happen if THREE'S COMPANY sells extremely well for all 8 seasons first... It's a long shot, admittedly, but NOT out of the realm of possibility, especially since 2 or 3 eps of THE ROPERS have Jack, Janet, Chrissy and Larry guest-starring, and those eps won't be included on any THREE'S COMPANY dvds since they're definitely THE ROPERS episodes. Their inclusion alone on THE ROPERS would help sell the thing. If you know anything about the goings on behind the scenes of THREE'S COMPANY, then you know that to the producers, it was mostly about the money, and their putting out 2 spin-offs of a well selling series is guaranteed to bring them more of it. I hope they release this show on DVD. I would buy it because I have never seen it before. I would also love it if they brought out Three's A Crowd. I need to see that show. I know that John would be very hot in it.
I love you very much John. You are my angel from heaven.
