Default Poor writing

Has anyone ever considered that part of the shows unsuccess is that while the performances were decent, the writing was terrible in almost every season? Just catching a few episodes on disney can almost make someone frustrated from the clunky dialouge and repetiitve plots. It could have lasted longer without the writers they had, in my opinion.

HUH????? The show may not have been a humongous ratings success like Friends or Frasier etc, but it did very well in the ratings and has a huge fan following.

It's alot of people's favorite show, so obviously they don't dwell on the writing and things.

Oh of course, why would someone care about the actual dialouge or plots that goes on, be they clunky and repetitive?

And I wasn't asking if it was the people's favorite show, I was asking if anyone had considered that some of its downsides (which lots of people seem to be mentioning lately) were from, frankly, crappy writing.

no the writing was great. Unlike Full House, the matthews family had some issues to deal with, and had to learn lifes lessons. Full House went off for poor writing , not BMW lol

Full House was pretty successful, and IMO I rather watch some of their crappy diologue, and corny jokes then BMW.

Full House was successful, but I believed it was quite stupid, and never really made me laugh. But, I've always loved watching Boy Meets World because I could always count on laughing. Especially, at Eric. His stupidity is amazing, and makes me laugh everytime. Too bad the show was canceled.

But, I too believe that during the second season of when they were in college started to get a little repitive, but I still continued to watch but mainly for Eric.

What I hated about the college season was that it had shawn going through all of this mess, and then someone else went through some more, and it was just dumb and annoying to me.

Although it somewhat displayed a positive message, it was really crappy to me. And not ONE thing, in the entire show ever made me laugh or I thought was funny. Eric was really stupid and annoying in the final seasons, and cory I just wanted to slap he looked and acted stupid, and shawn I wanted to tell him to try and act more masculine so your fans wont think that your gay. I mean there were so many crappy moments that i truthfully could not stand.

On a scale from 1 to 10 Id give it a 2.

Thats just my opinion though

I always felt the writing on the show was very sharp up until the last season when it collapsed under its own weight.

Their senior year in high school was extremely smart and well-written, in my opinion, head and shoulders above most of the TGIF crew.
