Default Darlene's education

So Darlene leaves to go to art school in season 6 when shes only 16 or 17 years old (presumably to finish the last couple years of high school). Then Roseanne and everyone else is always mentioning that shes away at college. But then she comes back after a couple years and nothing is further said about if she graduated or what and if shes now going to college or if the school that she finished was college or anything. My question is when Darlene was at school in Chicago was she finishing high school or attending college?
Also, did Becky graduate? If not how can she mention going to college in season 8 when she didn't graduate? If she did graduate, why does Jackie make fun of Roseanne's kids and call them high-school dropouts?

Darlene droped out of high school to attend a art college in Chicago I don't think she graduated because she got pregnant. Darlene got job offers while she was at college. Becky left at 17 and was supposed to finish high school with Mark where he got a job. Darlene and David moved in together when David got a job in Chicago.

I could be wrong but didnt Darlene start to send a money order to the board of education for her high school equivelency test (episode when her aunt from N.Y. visited) and Roseanne caved in and gave Darlene permission to go to Chicago to art school....

And didnt Becky state she would also take her HS Equivalency test in Michigan or where ever her and Mark moved.

***You can attend Junior College with a GED*** so maybe that is what Becky wanted to do as far as going to college. She may have wanted to start at a Junior College

Darlene may have graduated college, but couldnt attend the graduation cause of her having her baby prematurely, or she may have had to drop...but if I remember correct she was being offered good jobs while still in school, she may have just stopped going.

I recently saw "Another Mouth to Shut Up", (when we first discover that Darlene is pregnant) and she said that she was still going to finish school, and that she would be taking classes in the summer.

Also have to remember that her baby was delivered early, so she probably had to take time off of school sooner then planned.
