Dan

I hated the way Crystal and Bonnie were snubbed in latter seasons tho. Crystal was only seen twice as the childbirth episode in season 4, and after Rodbell's closed, we never saw Bonnie again. If these were 2 of Roseanne's best friends, how come we never saw them ever at The Lunch Box?

Yeah I always figured Roseanne would've invited Bonnie to come work at the Lunchbox. And with Crystal she was like Roseanne's best friend and she just was gone. People say it was because she married Ed but that was in season 3 and she was still appearing a lot in season 4. Then in season 5 I think she was only in the first episode, the Halloween one, and Darlene's 16th birthday. And it was even worse when she appeared in 3 more episodes years later. I always thought maybe Crystal wasn't real and that's why Roseanne didn't mention her in the last episod.

Dan, only because Roseanne wasn't the same with out him in most of the episodes in season 9.

Bonnie was funny, the show should have kept her character.

It bugged me when Becky wasn't there. For me, what made the show realistic and relatable was the sibling rivalry:
Rosanne and Jackie
Darlene and D.J
and
Darlene and Becky

With Becky not there, the show was missing something.
(I like Sarah Chalke, but when she is there, she and Darlene don't fight so it's the same deal as Becky not being there at all.)

As much as I missed the original Becky I was upset that Dan was tooken out of the show for sometime. I espeicaly dislike the fact that the reason he left was an affair.

am i the only person who noticed Mark appeared more in the latter seasons than Becky did? The last episode aired last night (the one with the Springer/Playboy fantasies) didn't even have Becky, yet Mark was in it

Mark and David were in WAY too many of the later episodes which was bad considering Mark in particular was such a one-note character and they kinda ruined David's character too IMO.

I missed all of those old school characters to be honest...but if I had to choose just one, I'd say, Crystal.

It pissed me off when Mark was in certain episodes and Becky wasn't. Wasn't Mark in Thanksgiving Season 9 and Becky was nowhere to be seen!!

I always thought AT LEAST Johnny Galecki (well, Glenn Quinn was more or less a frequent recurring character) should've been used in the credits in the 8th and 9th season. He was a regular IMO

I agree, they certainly should have been mentioned, the only problem I have is with them dominating episodes because I don't think their characters by the last few seasons really justified it.

For some reason I didn't see the Becky option on the poll...that is REALLY unforgivable, the absences and the back and forth with different actresses; it's hard to take a show that does that seriously.

especially considering the last part of season 8. One week, Lecy would have short hair, then Sarah had long, then Lecy was short... They could've had Sarah Chalke cut her hair OR have her wear something to make her hair look shorter, because there was no way Becky's hair would grow 6 inches per episode.
