Compare/Contrast your Favorite and Least favorite Sports... - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Give favorite sports, reasons for liking and not liking it, which level, (High School or lower, College, Pro, or unofficial/street/backyard, etc.) and sports heroes.

Basketball is my favorite sport. I really have no idea why. I just love doing tricks handling the ball, and creating new passes and shots; and despite my less-than-average height, I can block pretty well and it's especially fun blocking tall people's passes and shots :P . Another thing I like about Basketball is, you don't need any gear or anything to full play it, and you can almost always play it wherever you go. My favorite in-game player is Steve Nash on the Dalls Mavericks, with Nick van Exel as a close second (I don't like van Exel off the court, though) and my favorite out-of-game player is David Robinson who used to be on the San Antonio Spurs, but is now retired. Robinson played from the Navy, (Or Army, but I think Navy) he's a God-fearing, Christian man, and I never saw him use expletives or argue with the refs. Have a nice retirement, Mr. Robinson

. Pros are my favorite to watch, but then street next, though I've never seen an "And 1" (or whatever) video.

Football: Football I can't stand to watch at any level, because I always seem to see the better way to do something, lol; I know I'd never be able to do the best thing if I played. I like playing it even though I'm not very good, and I'm pretty good at catching and running, but I'm not very good at throwing (when it's needed). I like Quincy Carter for the Dallas Cowboys and Bret(t?) Favre for the Green Bay Packers.

Baseball: This is my second favorite sport, and I love watching Pro Baseball. I stink at playing in official leagues, but I like playing backyard or whatever. I'm not really sure who my favorite Baseball player is; maybe Luis Castillo or Mark Teixeira.

I never watch and know nothing about:

Tennis, Golf, Hockey, Soccer, and Boxing.

(P.S. If you like basketball a lot, post what tricks you can do like between the legs, "check yo bags", etc.)

This is sort of like comparing apples to oranges.

I like college football, but not so much pro football. Why? I don't know, maybe just that my university has been winning for the last few years, never had a worse record than 9-3 in five years. The game seems more like a sport when the kids basically aren't or aren't supposed to get paid to do it.

I like any tennis, pro or club level. Why" I play it.

I hate hockey at any level. Wrestling or boxing too, just too violent. Soccer is sort of stupid to me too. JMO!! Don't blast me, please!

Fav: Football, basketball although the commercial breaks in Football are becoming unbearable.

Least Fav: Soccer, hockey, baseball - not enough scoring.

Yes, this is a point I meant to make about another reason I love Basketball; there is scoring every two seconds. I guess the reason I like Baseball even though there's not near enough scoring for me (You know when a game's over by the, like, 6th inning in most cases) is that the team I follow has been a home-run hitting team like crazy the last couple 'o few years.

Least Fav: Baseball, Basketball, Hockey

In the Middle: NASCAR, College Football(only when the UT Vols play!!)

Most: NFL!!! All-time!! Figure skating!!

I don't like baseball because it is so, so, boring and it puts me to sleep and plus it doesn't have like the minutes you can play with like four quarters in football and basketball and plus basektball is makes me dizzy and the NBA players running back and forth and back and forth makes anybody's head turn dizzy!!(size 3 text)

My Favourite is Hockey
My Least favourite is Basketball

It used to be GOLF until I really started watching TGC when it came to my cable system.. (The Golf channel)

Hockey is just an amazing fast paced game,I have always liked it...

I like mostly professional hockey......

Basketball just seems boring and non competitive......

Baseball is the only sport I really like to watch. Sometimes I'll watch a bit of volleyball or soccer.

Basketball is my least favorite because it's so repetitive and makes me dizzy with the back and forth LOL.
