I loved this game show as a kid and it really sucks its not even on anymore. Does anyone have tapes of this?

It's still on locally in some places, like KDFI in Dallas. I think Salt Lake City's KJZZ has/is still airing it.

Like the live action show right? With the Cheif, the Big World Map & The Rockapella singers, not the cartoon Where On Earth is Carmen Sandiego because I know the cartoon is still being shown.

I've been looking for this gameshow for years. I think I've finally found someone with at least a few episodes. He's slow to respond, but I think he's legitimate. I'm supposed to be receiving an email from him this weekend.

If he has 'em, and I get 'em, I'll make sure I post here.

In the meantime, does anyone know anybody who has these?

Right. I loved that show. Patty Larceny and Vick the Slick were the best villains. I am checking the list of locals and I see about 3-4 airing the show. KDFI, as I mentioned, WJWB, WWCP, and KWKB. Looks like KJZZ in Salt Lake City stopped airing it.

I've checked the stations you've mentioned. The show they are all airing is called "Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego". This was the animated series. As of this posting, no network is airing the original PBS gameshow "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego".

Man, I was really hoping you were right. *sigh*

Well, TitanTV.com lists the animated series for all the channels but KDFI. Yahoo! lists the game show for all those channels, even KDFI. So maybe KDFI is the only one airing the game show currently? http://www.kdfi27.com Check the What's On section for 8:30 AM. It says:

I have a friend in Dallas, I'll ask them today and hopefully they'll check tomorrow and see what they actually air.

Also, if anyone is in Johnstown, Pennsylvania check what airs on WWCP; Jacksonville, Florida's WJWB; and Iowa City, Iowa's KWKB. It baffles me HOW they could even get mixed up between the two shows. They didn't even have the same title, lol.

OK, here's what I did.

I went to Zap2It.com and put in the zip code for Dallas, TX. I then set my settings for Local Broadcast and did a search for Carmen Sandiego.

Many many airings popped up on KDFI. But, unfortunately, they were all for Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego. Someone at the KDFI website has gotten confused.

Again, I REALLY wish they were airing the gameshow, but it's definitely just the cartoon.

OK, I've snooped a little further and there may be a ray of hope here. KDFI claims to air the original game show. I have a friend who lives 3 hours from Dallas and hopefully she'll be able to tune it in. If she does, and it's the original gameshow, I'll have her tape them.

When I get the tapes, I'll immediately post here. I know how frustrating it is looking for this series and will do my best for everyone interested to get a chance to see it.

My friend in Dallas just told me today they aired the cartoon this morning. These TV listings need to be more careful, they are mixing up between the two shows.

So I'm assuming all the channels that list "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" is airing the animated "Where on Earth is Carmen San Diego?" Here is the list of locals: http://search.tv.yahoo.com/tvtitlese...core&srch=true

I have tons of Carmen episodes. I am only missing 5 episodes each from Seasons 1 and 2, I have 10 episodes from season 3, 1 from season 4 and none from season 5.

For Where In Time, I have 2 episodes from season 1, and 12 episodes from season 2.

If anyone has Carmen episodes, or has a trade list and would like to trade, send me an e-mail and let me know.
