WTF?! I just realized a few things about the so-called "complete 1st and 2nd seasons" DVD. According to the various ep guides I have seen, the DVD is MISSING some eps from the 2nd season *and* has added eps from the 4th season! For example, "The Fabulous Belding Boys" (2nd season), "Breaking Up Is Hard To Undo" (2nd season), and "Glee Club" (2nd season) are all not included on the DVD! Meanwhile, some 4th season eps that ARE on the DVD are "Slater's Friend" and "Screech's Birthday." This really annoys me. Are all the ep guides online wrong or what? Can someone please explain what may have happened? Thanks.

they added them how they are shown in syndication which is better becuz they are in order.....some of the eps were held over from earlier seasons and thats why they appeared in later seasons...

Thanks. My bad. I think I see what is happening now. As you said, the ep guides seem to list them in order of how they are played IN SYNDICATION. However, this is clearly not the order in which they were made. After going back and looking at our old VHS tapes, it is clear that in "The Fabulous Belding Boys," "Breaking Up Is Hard To Undo," and "Glee Club" that the kids are all older than they are in other 2nd season episodes -- even though the ep guides LIST these as 2nd season episodes. Conversely, in "Slater's Friend" and "Screech's Birthday" (which are both on the DVD) the kids look younger ... even though the EP guides LIST them as 4th season episodes. Ugh. Confusion.

I AGREE WITH YOU. THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE SEASONS IS JUST CONFUSING. I LOVE HAVING THE SHOW ON DVD. MY FAVORITE EPISODES, DRIVER'S ED AND JESSIE'S SONG ARE ON IT, SO IT'S EVEN BETTER. I ALSO LIKE THAT THEY INCLUDED THE OLDER OPENING, WITH THE DIFFERENT SINGER ON THE THEME SONG. WHAT DO YOU THINK?
MERRY HOLIDAY! |

I love the shows on the dvd ! It is a bit confusing how they are really in order but it doesnt seem as if they are. Like the one "king of the hill" is played way after and that would seem like the first one because its the first day and slaters there. So thats a little confusing but I love the shows.
