I was watching an episode of The Nanny when I got home, and realized that while she was working at the donught shop, Val was awfully "big". Was she pregnant, too??? Or did she just eat too many donughts?

Yep! Rachel Chagall was pregnant (too). Here's a quote from "The Really Unofficial Nanny Home Page" about it:

"6.21 The Finale: The Sheffield twins were named after the real life recently born children of cast and crew. Jonah and Eve are Rachel Chagall's twins, Katherine is Lauren Lane's daughter, and Samuel is Rick Shaw's son. The babies used in the show were Julia and Lauren Hiagh (at least according to TV Guide)."
