can somebody please give the plot of the hitchhiker episode?

Arnold and Kimberly go to get Mr. D a birthday present, for his surprise birthday party. When they go to get a cab, they find out that they spent all of their money and don't have enough for cab fare. They get a ride with a stranger, and they go to his apartment to show Arnold his spaceship videos. He ties up Arnold and tries to get Kimberly to fall in love with him. Arnold sneaks out and gets home, but can't remember where they were. A policeman hypnotizes him to remember the liscence plate of the stranger. Mr. D and the police find his apartment but he and Kimberly are gone. The building owner says that the stranger has a dark room in the basement to develop his photographs. Finally they go down and find them in there.

This was hands down the best episode of Diff'rent Strokes in my opinion and the one that the majority of people who grew up with the show rememeber most. I'm pretty sure I was in Kindergarten when it happened, so I think it was the sixth season '83-84.

Yes it was in the sixth season. Dixie Carter was in it as Maggie before she and Mr. D were married.
