Interesting that there was only one storyline and it revolved around Jerry and that woman Marlene. All the other characters were in the background with no storylines.

Yes, it fits in with a lot of the early episodes. Although Elaine did have a run in with the 'no hello' guy and Kramer started his preoccupation with fruit in that episode, but it was not high on the Action-Meter.
