I have always wondered how rick took john housemans death after he died. I have always watched things about the stars like aunt bea not really getting a long with andy taylor on andy griffith, but as I watched every episode of silver spoons with "grandfather" he always seemed to me to be like a more to life grandfather to him if you know what I mean, I guess I mean like a likeness of a grandfather off the set as well. I have watched john houseman in movies one such as a little part in the FOG but what I can best remember "I thought" his greatest acting role ever was in silver spoons. I Dont know if they ever came out with a interview with rick about the topic about johns death but that was always on my mind.
