Default Season 4 Ideas

Okay i was thinkin of ideas for episodes for season for and came up with some ideas:

Gilligan and Mr. Howell get stuck in quick sand while the other 5 can't find them and start to worry and even make up funeral plans!

Two sailors (Captain Tom and Bruce Anderson), two millionaires (the Perrys), a movie star (Hannah Carvey), a high school proffesser (Proffesser Wolsey), and a farm girl from Arkansas (Dorothy Jones) get stranded on the island but get rescued while the others are sleeping and once again---the castaways are left behind.

Marayann has a dream of The wizard of oz. Proffesser is scarecrow Gilligan is tin man and Skipper is the lion. Mrs. Howell is Glinda, Ginger is the wicked witch, and Mr. Howell is the wizard. Yes this was originally PIBOOKFOR (did i spell that right?) idea!

Ginger has a dream she's a Princess Ginger daughter of King Henry VIII in the 1500's. She runs away cuz her father ignores her. Along the way she meets a 15 year old poor girl named Maryann Summers, a doctor named Dr. Roy Hinkley, a wealthy couple The Howells, a superstitious falconer Jonas Grumby, and a 16 year old page boy Jimmy Gilligan. Ginger learns to respect the poor, to appreciate doctors more, that money isn't everything, that superstitions aren't always fake, and Jimmy teaches Ginger to appreciate what she has and to be happy without evrything.

I can't think of anymore at the moment. what r your ideas?

Very interesting Post Rory Michelle. I enjoyed reading it. But I thought Gilligan's first name was Willy?

well nobody really knew Gilligan's first name. It was a mystery. And I didn't necessarily like "Willy" so I just thought of Jimmy.

Bob Denver wasn't too thrilled about that name either when Mr.Schwartz told him that Gilligan's first name was Willy. That's why he wanted to be called only Gilligan

The castaways have yet another chance to be rescued, but Gilligan screws things up yet again.

Celine there was dispute over whether Gilligan is his first or his last name. I've covered this in other threads.

Sherwood Shwarthz said that Gilligan was is last name in the movie:Surviving Gilligan's Island. He found that name in the phone book.Remember that the Skipper was Gilligan's boss and it's pretty commun that a captain called his first mate by his last name. For the others castaways, they called him Gilligan like the Skipper thinking that it was his first name and it sounds funnier too:Giiilliiiggggaaannn!!!!!!!

Every episode would have something to do with them almost getting off the island.

How about this? If there are no more seasons after Season 4, which would have been unlikely, the castaways would finally get rescued. Off the island. A good series finale.

Sherwood Schwartz explained in his book Inside Gilligan's Island that if he had known that the third season would have been the last season, he would have closed the season with the castaways' getting off the island. As most probably know, a fourth season was promised, but then taken away at the last minute. I think that an unfair share of blame has been put on Sherowood Schwartz for not rescuing the castaways as part of the original series, when it was, in fact, not his fault at all.

I agree. But what's done is done. You can't change the past. But at least they had three reunion movies long after that series.

The reunions were good we finally learned how they
got rescued. But,I wanted to know more about the
personal lives of the Skipper and Gilligan. We didn't
meet any Gilligan's friends(like Skinny Mulligan) or
parents and any of the Skipper's old girls friend. It
was interesting to see the other castaways in their
every day's lives.Mary Ann getting married with her
old boy friend that she didn't see in fifteen years was
a real shock!On the island,she never mentionned
she was engaged except at the time she pretended
to be...I always whished that Gilligan would ask her
to marry him(she was in a wedding dress anyway).
That would been a great ending. They could suprised
the others with the good news at their reunion on the
Skipper's new boat.Here's another thing:if you had
been shipwrecked on board the Minnow would you go
back and take another cruise with the same boat under
the same Skipper and also Gilligan?:

I don't recall them doing an episode with an epedemic. Maybe they could have had everyone sick except Gilligan, or even Ginger. And the other person has to run around playing doctor. That would have been funny.
