Default Led Zeppelin

Led Zeppelin is the greatest rock band ever bar none they are the ones who made it possable for the bands today to be as free and open as they want, and be accpected I feel that your Tool, Deftones, Radiohead, should get down on one knee and kiss the ground that Robert Plant walks on. Those are the facts and heres another one Stairway to Heaven still is the most requested rock song ever to this day. If you disagree keep it to yourself I really dont care. And if your that one guy that liked Prince so much, dont even try it buddy you dont want to step to deezz.

They along with several other people are responsible for making rock what it is. By other people I mean The beatles, the doors, Pink Floyd, the rolling stones, David Bowie, Queen..etc.

Absolutely.

You can hear a multitude of bands in every one of these classic rock icons. It's actually silly if anyone can claim to not be influenced by them (or other classics not named).

You name a band, I can tell you where the sound came from.

And don't forget the New Wave of British Heavy Metal in the late 70's/early 80's: Diamond Head, Saxon, Tygers of Pan Tang, Samson, Motorhead, Iron Maiden, etc. That's where their fast sound comes from.

Well I'm pretty sure Robert Plant and Jimmy Page still kisses the ground that B.B King and Roy Harper walked on. As they were a big influence to Led Zeppelin's success.

Led Zeppelin is on my top five list of the greatest rock bands of all time. Some of their music, Whole Lotta Love and How Many More Times, for example, are best heard though a pair of headphones.

The Beastie Boys better bow down on one knee to Led Zeppelin for their success . Since they used samples from Led Zeppelin on their License To Ill rap album.
