Default Laverne DeFazio and Shirley Feeney or Janet Wood and Chrissy Snow?

I have to go with Janet and Chrissy only because of Laverne. The Laverne character was also a little ODD. Shirley was OK and since I was only ok with shirley, I have to go with Janet and Chrissy

Laverne and Shirley. Janet and Chrissy were never as funny as them.

Laverne & Shirley were much funnier alone.
Janet & Chrissy needed Jack to play off of.

Whereas L&S were great on their own.

Laverne and Shirley get my vote. They were more like the real women I knew. As for Chrissy, no woman looks that good. The dumb blonde routine doesn't appeal to me. Besides, I got more of a kick out of Laverne. I like how she showed signs of being eccentric (like drinking milk and coke). I really dig the L emblems on all of her clothes.

Laverne and Shirley. They were lovable, down-to-earth Midwesterners with true Milwaukee grit and hearts of gold. Janet and Chrissy were annoying, superficial Southern California types. Which is why "Laverne and Shirley" was never really the same when the characters were reset in LA.

You can check out of the Hotel California any time you like, but you can never leave.

Laverne and Shirley, even though I am a big Three's Company Fan, to me were more down to earth, unpretentious and the hell a lot more hilarious with their antics...

Despite that Chrissy Snow is one of favorite characters on Three's Company, my votes goes to Laverne & Shirley. Here's my reasoning:
1) Laverne & Shirley was given their own show while Janet & Chrissy wasn't.
2) Laverne & Shirley depended on each other to be funny, while Janet depended on either Chrissy or Jack to be funny. Chrissy was just naturally funny.
3) I can't imagine Laverne w/out Shirley but can for Chrissy and Janet.
4) Laverne & Shirley were best friends, but I can't say that necessarily for Janet & Chrissy.
5) Laverne & Shirley were THE stars on their show, while Janet and Chrissy were "second bananas".

Nothing against Janet and Chrissy, who were both funny and great together - but you have to hand it to Laverne and Shirley. They could make you laugh until your sides hurt with very little effort.
