Was there really a Shotz brewery in Milwakie? I found an interesting picture that kinda makes me wonder...

No the real brewery in Milwaukee is called Schlitz.I believe Shotz was just a fictionally made up name used for the series.

That picture you have there is of root beer. (Look close, you can see 'root' on the bottom right of the label.) There's supposed to be a white glove that goes on top of it (like in the opening shots) that says "Doin' It Our Way!" on it in dark blue. I only know cuz I picked that up for $5.00 in Milwaukee. Best thing ever.
And yes, the real brewery is Schlitz. Drove past it once or twice. Should have taken a picture.  ~Katie |
