Okay, I'm really confused and maybe sombody can help me out. I've been reading the episode guide for FOL on this site and it says that Mrs. G married (did she ever really marry?) Ted in "Two Guys From Appleton." Is this where Basil appears? I know that Kevin is Ted's son, right? And Kevin hangs around for a little while, but Ted just, like, disappears. Where does he go and what happens to the marriage (WAS there a marriage?) and Basil after that?
Thanks ~Courtney |

Mrs. Garrett got married to Mr. Gaines in episode, "Out Of Peekskill". I don't remember her getting married in "Two Guys From Appleton", but then again, I've only seen the episode once.

Didn't Mrs. G. marry some guy named Bruce? I've no idea who Basil is. Ted and Mrs. G. almost got married in "Two Guys..."

Okay, wait, she married Bruce in "Out Of Peekskill." Basil is the bird that Ted gave her (?). So, I'm guessing she and Ted *almost* got married, but didn't. Okay, that sorta explains it.
Thanks ~Courtney |

Did Ted get upset and take Basil back? lol. That'd be harsh. Basil is like the cutest thing. hehe.

Ted didn't take Basil back. Mrs.G gave Basil to an older lady who came in the shop one day and heard him say "I love you Edna!", and thought he was talking to her (coincidently her name was Edna too). I think the episode was Born Too Late, but not quite sure. I know it was in the Over Our Heads era of FOL though.
