Default "Full House" Used to Be on the NBC Daytime Schedule

Brent88, has anybody seen this website: http://www.curtalliaume.com/nbc_day.html they have a bunch of TV shows except "Full House" which it used to be on the NBC Summer daytime schedule from 6/3/91 until 9/6/91. Just scroll down and look for the specific show. It could be under the 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM time schedule. Thanks!

Has anybody seen "Full House" that it used to be on NBC back in 1991? The reruns of that show came on before the show moved to syndication about a year later. It was on before "Classic Concentration" came on at 11:30 AM. And it was the show that came on right after the NBC daytime version of "Wheel of Fortune". That rerun lasted on NBC just one summer.

Why would NBC show an ABC primetime show during it's run in the daytime?

It makes no sense.

According to the book "The Complete Directory to Prime Time Network and Cable TV Shows" by Tim Brooks and Earle Marsh.

Quote:
NBC aired repeats of this series weekday mornings from June-September 1991.
That's what it says in the book. The show was used to be on the NBC daytime summer lineup. It's between NBC's "Wheel of Fortune" and "Classic Concentration".

I usually love the promo from 1991. I saw it on TV a long time ago that they sang the rap jingle:

"'Full House' is on NBC Daytime!"

I love that song!

Yes, I remember watching it on NBC back then. It seemed really strange.

If I remember right, they only showed episodes from season three and four, and a few from season two, which is weird, because ABC was still rerunning season four at the time. It was also the first time the "syndicated" version of the theme song was heard. NBC also inserted unnatural commercial breaks into the show, like FX does with "Married... With Children."

The show didn't go into syndication a year later, though; it went into syndication in September of 1991.

"Full House" syndicated history:

TBS: Either 1998 or 1999 until 2002
WGN: 199? until 2001 or 2002

Whether or not in the NY area

WPIX: 1992 until 2003

Default I found something

I was trying to bump this thread that ShawnHill was posted on the Classic TV board at Radio-Info.com about "Full House" and NBC. Here it is:

Quote:
Here's something I found a little strange...NBC carried reruns of "Full House" (of course, a longtime ABC hit) on its daytime in the spring and summer of 1991, prior to entering syndication that coming fall. I remember it aired at 11:30 AM locally in Los Angeles, which meant at aired 12:30 PM, following the ill-fated revival of "Let's Make a Deal". The shortened theme song that used for the first few seasons of "Full House", was originally used on the NBC daytime version.

The networks seemed to always air daytime reruns of their prime time hits at least a year before going to off-net syndication.

Why did you bump a year-old thread up?

Because I found that post according to the Radio-Info.com's Classic TV Board entitled "Prime Time Shows in the Daytime". That's the one I found at Radio-Info.com's website.

I do remember WCSH 6 (NBC affiliate for Northern Maine and New Hampshire) running Full House in syndication for a long time back-to-back with The Simpsons until 1995 or 1996 when the syndication rights to The Simpsons were handed over to the Fox affiliates (I think that rule was dead by 1997, because The Simpsons have been swaped from UPN to Fox affilates several times around here).
