I was just watching Ellen and Sara Gilbert was on. Man, her real voice is annoying! I didn't know that her Darlene voice wasn't her real one....

Anyway, she's going to be on Will & Grace this Thursday at 9pm playing an obsessed Barry Manilow fan.

Wow when I watched High Fidelity and Light it Up it sounded like Darlene's voice.

When they shows the clip from Will & Grace, it was Darlene's voice. But when she was doing the interview with Ellen, it was NOT Darlene's voice. Sara's voice is higher pitchers, almost like a whine.

I was pretty glad to see her in something again with a whole lot of lines as well. I haven't seen her in anything since her canceled CBS sitcom "Welcome to New York".

not sure when that show was on. But I know she appeared in a number of 24 episodes last season. I also remember her cameo in High Fidelity, which also had former tv daughter Lisa Bonet as well

I haven't seen this movie in a long itme, but i think Lisa Bonet's character was seen at a club concert type of deal? I really want to see this movie again, Sara Gilbert was so cute in her cameo.

I have an interview of Sara Gilbert from a few years ago (when the cast was on Roseanne's talk show), and her voice sounded like Darlene's when Darlene wasn't being so sarcastic. Usually Darlene has a low voice, but sometimes when the character is just talking and not being so "Darlene-ish", her voice gets higher and that's just what Sara sounds like.
