Default Why do some of you look for the COMPLETE SERIES all at ONCE?

I always thought that was a bit odd because let's say u are looking for a complete series of a sitcom that was out for 6 years, that's a LOT of episodes. I mean who has time to copy over a 100 eps in ONE TRADE? I just can't believe when i see people looking for he entire series of a show. That's is too many ep to be copying. My lmit is 30 eps per trade

I look for complete series because it is easier than tracking which episodes I'm missing. I would be happy with a complete season if I couldn't get the complete series. I also like to get complete sets because you never know when a trader will decide to quit doing trades. For some shows, that isn't a problem because there are lots of people that have them.

Besides, it's soooooooooo CooL to get a package with a complete series and then camp out on the couch for the weekend and have a marathon happyface

But I know you have to wait atleast a month because only a UNEMPLOYED person has time to copy over 100 eps.

That's because we live in an impatient "Burger King" society (I want it my way)... though I have to admit that it's mighty nice to have a complete set. Piecing a set together is always fun, too, but if I could get an entire set of Mission Impossible pronto, I'd go for it in a heartbeat.

I'm still waiting for my DVDR+VCR unit to arrive...until then I'm holding off on ordering and trading etc... but complete sereis are fun also.. Like I have over 15 T.V. Movies from the 1970's of David Janssen, remember him from the Fugitive? I have like 8-9 VHS tapes of The Fugitive as well from 1963-1967 I love David Jannsen..LOL and I have over 55 Cary Grant Movies as well on VHS, which I'm WIAITING to transfer my entire colletions over to DVDR discs... then I'll post my HAVE's and my WANTS' etc.. I have tons of stuff, Best of Ivan Lendl (Tennis God from 1982-1994) 2 Volumes Compilation tape I created from recording most of his matches on TV, I edited them to only record every passing shot, winning shots, aces, comebacks, rallies, etc..against Becker, McEnroe, Edberg, Ivanisivec, Wilander, Sampras, Agassi (when he was 17!), Stich, Cash, Korda, Connors, etc.. LOL so I got tons to trade and sell once I transfer stuff...Kiss Concerts, Dokken Concerts, etc...Beatles Videos Compilations, I prefer DVDR to VHS and prefer it that way..LOL

So complete series are good if you're an avide collector..Like I have 5 VHS of Alice, 5 VHS tapes of What's Happening, etc..stuff like that, oh and Lost and Space but this list is miniscule to what I have...will keep you all posted when I transfer them...

Cool! I look forward to working with you seriously, and others here too... I've been waiting forever for my DVDR+VCR combo unit, and I have like 8 banker boxes full of VHS tapes of tons of shows, Satudaynight live, 1st 4 seasons of 90210, Alice, What's Happening, Melrsoe place, hollywood movies, tons of 80's hoor flicks, etc... 70's movies, 60's, 80's etc... and I'm sick of VHS tapes now, and they take up tons of room too, which is why I can't wait to transfer...once they're transfered? I'm going to chuck or give away the VHS tapes, and keep only the DVDR discs I make...so the VHS are up fro grabs when I'm done. also, I'll still be interested in obtaiing VHS taps of certain shows too, since I'll immediately transfer those as well etc...

Your FLo and What's Happening look good to me. so let's keep in touch after the 15th of this month, cross your fingers, since I'm heading to the store 1st thing that morning to buy it, then hook it up that evening to start transfering my catalogue...so basically Christmas break I'll crank out copies and do trades and purchases and selling and give-aways too! Thanks Analyzer! p.s. feel free to advertise on my site as well, at
