"Angry Young Man"- Billy Joel (I think most of us have heard that familiar quick playing at the opening)
"Morning Has Broken"- Cat Stevens (Rick Wakeman of Yes played the elegant sounding opening & coda) "Tubular Bells"- Mike Oldfield (No one can listen to this without thinking of The Exorcist. Creepy) "Imagine"- Lennon "Maybe I'm Amazed"- McCartney "Lady Madonna"- Beatles I dunno, I would've listed something by Elton John. He's an obvious choice, but when I thought about it, his songs *are* piano based, but IMO, they aren't piano driven. It helps his songs along, but his classics have lots of orchestration doing most of the work. As mentioned above, "Layla" is a great example of a *really* memorable piano section and I couldn't think of a similar thing w/ Elton. Maybe I should try harder. *Maybe* "Tiny Dancer". Hope that makes sense!
