Jeffersons Maude Sanford and Son Good Times I will have to say Sanford and Son was in my opinion the Least Controversial. |

I say pretty much all the shows that you listed where pretty ahead of their times...especially Sanford and Son and All in the Family..

Of the Norman Lear shows it would probably be One Day At A Time. Of the shows you listed it would probably be Sanford And Son.

Sanford and Son; there were a few eps when both Fred and Aunt Eshter mentioned the "N" word and didnt Fred use the word "***gety" (SIC) once....that is pretty racy for the early 70's....

Picking the least controversial seventies sitcom out of the ones you listed is like trying to pick the safest barrel to go over Niagara Falls in. . .why bother?
